When my daughter was born in London 2004, we realised she had an extreme form of eczema and by 3 months old, her skin was literally coming off- shedding off, flaking all over her body, with no hair on her head as the rash was everywhere. As one can imagine, it’s every parent’s nightmare!

She saw numerous consultants, prescribed numerous steroids and creams, had numerous tests, including seeing one of the best at Great Ormond Street Hospital (London) with little or no success. The poor child was completely covered in rashes, constantly itching which leads to blisters and redness especially at places where the skin rubs against itself- elbows, knees and of course during summer, the heat doesn’t help – if you have a child that suffers from eczema, you will understand!

We were over our heads trying which ever works, but sadly none did. Until I realised her skin needs to be constantly moisturised with natural products and that everything else irritates. As I read and researched more, I gradually started developing ‘what works’ for her. I realised once my own homemade ingredients & product were used, her skin was increasingly getting better. The key I realised was to ensure her skin is moisturised always. It cannot be dry or else the itchiness and dryness returns and the rash is all over again!
